Terms of Service

TravelM8 is a travel planning tool. We give you cost estimates + booking links + visa info for trips. We do not sell flights, hotels, insurance, or visas — we link to partners who do.

Prices on TravelM8 are editorial estimates, not live quotes. They're cross-referenced from multiple sources (Lonely Planet, tourism boards, partner public listings) and reviewed monthly. Real prices at booking time can vary — expect roughly ±15–20%. Methodology at /estimates.

Visa datais sourced from the destination country's official authority (NADRA, UDI, etc.) and our own rules table. Every visa row links to the official source — please verify there before traveling. Do not rely on TravelM8 alone for visa decisions.

The free tier lets you save up to 3 trips lifetime, plan unlimited trips while signed in, and use all the dashboard features.

Premium (when launched) lifts the save cap and adds: location comparison, AI replanner, multi-city itineraries, offline companion mode. Pricing TBD — target ~€5/month. Premium is optional; the free product is the full product for most users.

You're responsible for the email you use to sign in. We authenticate via single-use magic links (15-minute expiry); we never store passwords. Don't share sign-in links — they grant full access.

You can delete your account at any time at /profile.

Don't:

• Try to access other users' data
• Scrape or automate the planner outside what we expose publicly
• Use TravelM8 to facilitate violations of any sanctions or travel restrictions
• Submit false or misleading information to evade limits

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these.

When you click "Book on Booking.com" (or any partner), you leave TravelM8 and complete the booking with that partner under their terms. We're not a party to that transaction. Refunds, cancellations, and disputes go through the partner.

We may earn a commission from some partners. This never changes what we recommend — see /estimates for our editorial methodology.

TravelM8 is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uptime, exact accuracy of estimates, or that every booking link will be available. Visa rules change — verify with the official source before travel.

We're not liable for: travel costs that exceed our estimates, partner cancellations or refusals, denied entry based on visa info that changed after our last review, or any indirect/consequential damages.

Maximum aggregate liability: the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (€0 on the free tier).

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend accounts that violate Section 5. We'll give notice + a chance to fix where reasonable.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes go to the courts of Amsterdam unless a mandatory consumer-protection rule says otherwise.

We'll update this page when material things change. The date at top reflects the latest revision. We'll email signed-in users about meaningful changes.
