Is Premium required to use TravelM8?

No. The full single-screen plan, source citations, family pricing, currency conversion, print/PDF export, offline checklist, and spend log are free. Premium unlocks the high-cost AI features (Concierge on Opus 4.7) and removes the 3-trip save cap.

What's the difference between Free and Premium Concierge?

Free uses Claude Haiku 4.5 — fast, cheap, good for direct lookups — with 3 messages per rolling 30 days. Premium uses Claude Opus 4.7 — substantially smarter at nuanced replanning and trade-offs — with 20 messages per rolling 24 hours, plus five partner deep-link tools the model can invoke.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your profile or via the Stripe portal. You retain Premium access until the end of the current billing period; no further charge is made.

Monthly or yearly?

Yearly (€119) saves €24.88 versus 12 months at €11.99 — roughly two months free. Pick monthly if you'd rather sample Premium first; you can switch to yearly later from the portal.

Why isn't there a free trial?

The free tier is the trial — full dashboard, save up to 3 trips, taste the Concierge on Haiku. We'd rather start a real subscription than ask for card details up front. We may add a paid trial as a growth experiment later.

VAT?

Prices are inclusive of any applicable VAT. The operator currently runs under the Dutch small-business scheme (KOR) and does not charge VAT on subscriptions while it stays within the scheme's thresholds. If that ever changes, prices stay the same total amount and VAT will be itemised on invoices.

Refunds?

Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has begun, except where required by mandatory consumer-protection law or where we materially fail to provide the service for 15+ consecutive days. See Terms §10 for details.

What about my right of withdrawal under EU consumer law?

By subscribing, you expressly consent that we begin providing the service immediately and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal under Article 6:230o BW (implementing Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive) expires once performance has begun — the standard pattern for digital services.
